What’s the problem?
St. Joseph Aspirin Chewable Tablets were recalled because of consumer reports of an unusual moldy, musty, or mildew-like odor caused by the presence of trace amounts of a chemical called 2,4,6-tribromoanisole (TBA) that was associated with temporary and non-serious gastrointestinal events. According to the FDA, McNeil Consumer Healthcare has received a number of reports of mild illnesses.
The recall involves St. Joseph Aspirin Chewable Tablets in Orange flavor that were packaged in 36 count packages marked with UPC code 300450173362 and 3X36 count packages marked with UPC code 300450173089.
The St. Joseph Aspirin Chewable Tablets were distributed through various retailers nationwide and manufactured in the United States.
