Nationwide Market Pantry Egg Recall

September 7, 2010 – In a press release dated September 3, 2010, Sparboe Farms added Market Pantry eggs to the list of recalled brand names. The recalled Market Pantry eggs were packed at plant 1906 and carry dates codes 211, 218, and 219.

The nationwide egg recall began on August 13, 2010 and continues to slowly expand. In addition to the eggs themselves being recalled, last week two Illinois companies recalled fresh Asian noodle products that were made with recalled eggs. Any uncooked products made with the recalled eggs have the potential to be contaminated with salmonella.

To date, brand names included in the recall are:
Albertsons, Alta Dena Dairy, Bayview, Becky, Boomsma’s, Cal Egg, California Ranch Fresh, Cardenas Market, Challenge Dairy, Country Eggs, Driftwood Dairy, Dutch Farms, E&M Ranch, Farm Fresh, Farmer’s Gems, Glenview, Hidden Villa Ranch, Hillandale Farms, James Farms, Kemps, Liborio Market, Lucerne, Lund, Market Pantry, Mi Pueblo, Mountain Dairy, Nulaid, Pacific Coast, Ralph’s, Sam’s, Shamrock Foods, Shoreland, Shurfresh, Sparboe Farms, Sun Valley, Sunny Farms, Sunny Meadow, Sunshine, Trafficanda, West Creek, Wholesome Farms and Yucaipa Valley.
