|

Arava Liver Lawyer, Lawsuit, Attorney, Class ActionTake Arava exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take it in larger amounts or for longer than recommended. Follow the directions on your prescription label.

Arava Update: On July 13, 2010, The U.S Food & Drug Administration (FDA) required the manufacturers of Arava to add a “Black Box Warning” to the package insert.  This is the most serious warning that the FDA requires and was added because of an increased risk of severe liver injury.

Free Arava Case Evaluation: If you or a loved one has been injured or suffered serious side effects after being prescribed Arava, you should contact our law firm immediately. You may be entitled to compensation by filing a lawsuit and we can help.

How Should I Take Arava?

Take Arava tablets by mouth. Swallow the tablets with a drink of water. You can take Arava with food or milk.

Adults
 – The recommended starting dose of Arava is 20 mg three to four times daily for the first 3 days. The doctor will then reduce the dose to 20 milligrams a day. If side effects appear, the dose may be further decreased to 10 milligrams a day.

Children
 – Arava is not recommended for children under 18 years old.

If you miss an Arava dose, take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed Arava dose and only take your next regularly scheduled dose. Do not take a double dose of Arava unless otherwise directed by your doctor.

Arava Overdose – Arava overdose can lead to serious consequences. Seek medical emergency.
Symptoms of Arava overdose include:
