The popular atypical antipsychotic drug Zyprexa (Generic: olanzapine) used by millions of Americans to Schizophrenia and bipolar disorder has been linked to, high blood sugar and Diabetes, Hyperglycemia, Ketoacidosis, Pancreatitis, Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome (NMS), Tardive Dyskinesia (TD), Diabetic Comas and death.

Zyprexa is a drug marketed by Eli Lilly and is in a class of drugs called atypical antipsychotics, which are used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety and sleep disorders.
Eli Lilly, has been instructed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to place new warnings on labels and packaging to the commonly used schizophrenia drug Zyprexa.
Zyprexa has been linked to diabetes and multiple blood sugar level disorders. Recent study shows atypical antipsychotic drugs like Zyprexa used in treatment of schizophrenia, appear to cause diabetes at a rate nearly 50 percent higher than previous generation drugs.
