Florida Firm Recalls Ground Beef Products Due to Possible E. coli O157:H7 Contamination
Blue Ribbon Meats has voluntarily recalled over 8,200 pounds of frozen ground beef products because of possible E. coli O157:H7 contamination in various Blue Ribbon Meats ground beef products.
If you feel that you, your child or someone you know has been sickened by one of the products included within this recall, you should seek professional medical attention immediately by visiting your doctor of by dialing 911.

What’s the problem?
On October 24, 2007, Blue Ribbon Meats voluntarily recalled approximately 8,200 pounds of frozen ground beef products because they may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7.
What is E. Coli?
E. coli O157:H7 is a potentially deadly bacterium that can cause bloody diarrhea and dehydration. The very young, seniors and persons with compromised immune systems are the most susceptible to foodborne illness.

- 10-pound boxes and 20-pound cases of "JNS FOODS, LLC, BEEF PATTIE MIX, 80/20."
- 10-pound boxes and 20-pound cases of "JNS FOODS, LLC, BEEF PATTIES, 80/20."
